A son départ pour l'Allemangne, Mitsuki Sensei a offert une enveloppe à Hanon qui hélas s'est envolée et qui a été ramassée par Shirai. Celui ci la garde jalousement sans la rendre à Hanon pour laquelle il éprouve des sentiments mais ne sait pas les exprimer. Maladroitement il tente d' attirer son attention en la provoquant ou en tentant de lui montrer sa force (lors de la course en moto contre Hamasaki par exemple). Il n'est pas très grand mais cherche toujours à faire ses preuves, et malgré tout il a bon coeur, il est le chevalier servant des demoiselles en détresse (Coco, Noelle et Karen en abusent.)
